pUSB00 - A single cable solution to connect a Garmin GPS II, III, III+, V thru St Pilots etc (all 4/5 pin round plug) GPS directly to a PC or Laptop USB port. Centre plug on pPlug can be removed for older GPS12. This cable is designed to enable data transfer between the GPS and PC for common Map/Nav applications without the need for two cables (GPS to serial and a separate USB Converter). Enables downloads for maps using the USB system and includes the common functions for transfer of waypoints, routes and tracks.

This cable is 5 feet long and has our round 4 pin P-plug fitted at one end and a standard USB A plug in extended case at the other. The cable is supplied with software drivers on mini CD that will mount a COM port on the USB system and enables the GPS serial device to communicate with the PC map application.

The mini CD provides drivers for Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista and Windows 7 (NOT Win 8). Includes all 32 and 64 bit variants. Also provided are drivers for Linux and Apple Mac. The files on the mini CD include general setup and specific GPS setup information. If you are unable to use a mini CD the drivers and files can be downloaded from our website SUPPORT page.

This cable system has flash gold plated pins on each plug for best connectivity and includes a standard radio interference module.
